Although its original name is “Imje Tse”, it is very popular in its starting name or previous name “Island Peak”. This peak has been named “Island Peak” in 1952 because of its location is exactly in the middle of the Chhukung Valley which seems like an island on the sea of Ice.

The classic treks including Everest Base Camp Trek, Everest Kalapathar Trek and Panorama trek are optional trek of Island peak climbing. Island Peak Climbing will make you feel proud of Himalaya Range.

Island Peak Climbing offers stunning scenario of Lhotse, Amadablam Peak and Mt. Makalu. This trip goes by the Khumbu which is known as the “Land of Sherpa”. And the Tibetan and Nepalese traditional cutlures will be another unforgettable moments.

Day 01: Welcome in the Kathmandu
Day 02: Explore the World Heritage Sites of Kathmandu Nepal like Boudhanath, Pashupatinath, Swayambhunath, Kathmandu Durbar Square
Day 03: Flight and Trek: Fly Kathmandu-Lukla and Lukla-Phakding(2652meters) 42 min flight and about 3-4 hours trek
Day 04: Trek: Phakding-Namche Bazaar(3440meters)
Day 05: Acclimatization Day at Namche Bazaar.
Day 06: Trek: Namche Bazaar-Tenboche(3870 meters) about 5-6 hours walk
Day 07: Trek: Tenboche-Dingboche(4360meters) about 5-6 hours walk
Day 08: Trek: Dingboche-Chhukung(4730) about 3-4 hours walk
Day 09: Climbing Chhukung(5546meters) and return back to Chhuking about 3-4 hours walk.
Day 10: Chhukung-Island Peak Basecamp(5200meters) about 3-4 hours walk
Day 11: Island Peak Basecamp Pre Climbing Trainning.
Day 12: Island Peak Basecamp-Summt and return back to Island Peak Basecamp (5600meters)
Day 13: Island Peak Basecamp-Pangboche(3985meters) about 5-6 hours walk
Day 14: Pangboche-Namche Bazaar about 4-5 hours walk
Day 15: Namche Bazaar-Lukla airport about 7 hours walk
Day 16: Flight: Lukla-Kathmandu
Day 17: Departure


Price Includes

  • A climbing guide
  • Necessary porters including a cook and a kitchen helper (one porter can carry the luggage upto 20 kilograms)
  • Sagarmatha (Mt. Everest) National Park Entry Permit.
  • Trekkers’ Information Management System (TIMS) card
  • All surface transportation from hotel to airport and from airport to hotel
  • All meals three times a day (breakfast, lunch and dinner)
  • Accommodation in Lodges during the trek and partly camp

  • Garbage disposal deposit .But this amount is refundable to you after your arrival from the trek.
